The short version

douu is a concept build. There is no production account system behind this site, and the desktop and mobile apps described here are prototypes. This page describes the data model the product is designed around, and what this website itself collects.

This website collects nothing about you. There is no analytics script, no advertising tag, no tracking pixel and no cookie beyond the two preferences stored in your own browser (the reduced-motion setting and nothing else).

What the product is designed to hold

There are three kinds of data in douu, and they are kept separate on purpose.

Your documents. These stay in your own folders on your own machine. A job reads them locally. What leaves the machine is the specific request, and only for the step that needs a model.

The activity log. A record of what ran, which app it touched, which permission it used and which files it changed. It exists so you can audit the crew. It is local, exportable and erasable.

Your account. Name, email, plan and billing details. Kept by us, because it is what you are paying for.

What we never do with it

Your documents are not training data. They are not used to improve douu for anyone else, and they are not used to build a profile of you.

We do not sell data, and there is no advertising business anywhere near this product.

We do not read your log. Support sees a log only if you attach one to a support request.

Third parties

Five categories of sub-processor are involved in running the service, and every one is named on the security page with the exact data it sees.

Integrations are different: when douu acts inside Slack or your CRM, it is using your credentials with that provider under their terms as well as ours.

How long anything is kept

Account data: while your account exists, then 30 days, then deleted.

Activity log (Free): seven days locally.

Activity log (Pro and Team): until you delete it, or export it and then delete it.

Support email: two years, because people come back to old threads.

Your controls

Export your log as JSON or CSV at any time. Erase it at any time. Erasing is immediate and does not require a request.

Revoke any integration without touching the rest of the crew.

Delete your account from inside the app. It does not need an email to a support address.

Children

douu is a tool for work and is not directed at anyone under 16.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that affects what you already agreed to, the change is announced in the changelog rather than slipped in quietly.
